The Rosamond is timed to leave Greymouth to-day for Wellington, making her due here to-morrow. The Wairau sailed for Blenheim last aigul, and .is due back on Wednesday, sailing the same day. The Kennedy is due from Poxton this morning, and sails on the return journey this evening. ' The Opawa arrived in last night from Blenheim, and is to be, dispatched for the same port again this evening. From Kaikoura and Lyttelton the Wakatu is due in Wellington to-morrow She will sail for the same ports again to-morrow night. „ ... The Waikawa will leave Wellington to-morrow for Newcastle, -where she will load coal for this port. Tiro Wanaka was expected to leave Timaru last night for WelHngton ; making her due hero to-morrow morning. 11 is "expected to dispatch her for/Auckland direct to-morrow night. She has, a Limited amount of cargo space. The Opawa, on route to New Zealand, arrived at Colon on. March 16th, The now Otaki left Newport News on March 15th for New Zealand ports. The Putiki was ready to sail from Onehunga for Wellington on Saturday night, but owing to the Onehunga bar not being navigable, she was unable to get away. . . The Ripple will sail for Napier to night with general cargo, and returns here next Sunday.

The Mapourika will remain in that ruu until Easter.

MAMARI ARRIVED. The Shaw, Savill liner Mamari arrived in ‘the stream early yesterday morn-, jdk from Southampton via ports, and afterwards was berthed at the Taranaki street wharf. where she is to discharge a general cargo, comprising tea anddesiccated cocoanut, and a large quantity of bunker coal for other vessels of the company’s fleet. She left Southampton on January Ist, and then went to Port Said, Aden, Basra, Karachi, Bombay, and Colombo, afterwards arriving at Melbourne on March Bth. The Mamari carried 451 wives and children of Imperial troops from England, and they were disembarked at Aden, Basra, Karachi, and Bombay. Twenty-five passengers, who were waiting for six months to reach Australia, wore transported to Sydney, which port was reached on March 12th. The Mamari left there for Newcastle on the 14th, and after bunkering sailed for Wellington on March 17th. On the way across the Tasman Sea, a very rougn trip was experienced, damage being done to the deckhouse fittings. Captain Summers is still in command, and has associated with him the following officers; —Chief, J. W. Johnson; second, W. G. West; third, B. E. Thompson; chief engineer. D. MoGowen; second, J. She will re-enter the Wellington-Patea trade, sailing probably to-morrow. C. AND D. DINERS. The C. and D. liner -Port Sydney arrived at London from Now Zealand ports on March 16th. The Port Lyttelton was dispa'tched from New York to Wellington oh March 13th. The Port Victor arrived at Melbourne at 9 a.m. on March 19th. MOKOIA LEFT SUVA. The Mokoia, with the Now Zealand Parliamentary party on board, left Suva, at 5 a.m. yesterday, and is due at Auckland on Friday morning. She is expected to leave Auckland on March 37th, Napier March 29th, arriving at Wellington on Tuesday, the 30th, and sailing as an extra boat in the Lyttelton-Wel-lington ferry service the same evening. She will omit Dunedin on that trip, and is timed to leave Lyttelton on April sth, arriving at Wellington, April 6th, and sailing for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland on the' 7th. FLORA FOB EASTEEN PACIFIC. Owing to the overhaul of the Island steamer Talune taking longer than was expected the Flora will take her place in the Eastern Pacific run. She is timed to sail for Karotonga and ports on March 31st. CANADIAN CABGO TBADE. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Eaider is expected to reach Auckland early in April and load general cargo for Montreal and New York. The steamer is at present at Vancouver, and will take a shipment of lumber to Melbourne, where she will load coal for New Zealand and sail direct for Montreal. This will be tbe first occasion on which New Zealand cargo has been taken direct to Montreal. The Canadian Balder is being transferred from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic trade between Montreal and the West Indies, and sbe is being diverted to New Zealand for one trip only. It is not the intention of the Canadian Government to maintain, a cargo service between New Zealand and Montreal. The Canadian Exporter, the second steamer that is being despatched from Vancouver in the Canadian-New Zealand cargo service, was expected to leave Vancouver yesterday. She is due at Auckland about the middle of April. KANNA FOB NEWCASTLE. ’ The collier Kanna left Newcastle on Saturday night with a cargo of coal for discharge hero, and ia-du© to arrive on Friday. ULIMAEOA IN PORT. For the first time for four years the Huddart-Parker fine passenger ship Elimaroa arrived in Wellington yesterday with passengers from Sydney. In August last she arrived hero as a. troopship with soldiers from Egypt, and since being recommissioned at Cockatoo Island, Sydney, the Ulimaroa made one trip to Auckland. A fairly boisterous trip over was experienced, much to the discomfort of tho passengers. Besides bringing over 200 passengers she carried 1500 ton of general cargo, and over 300 bags of mails. Captain Wylie is still in command. The vessel is due to leave Wellington on the return voyage to Sydney on Thursday, March 25th, and from Sydney for Hobart on March 39th. She is expected to leave Sydney again for Wellington on April Bth, arriving hero on the 12th, and sailing for Sydney again on April 15th.
