PLATED ON SATURDAY. WON BY NEWTOWN CLUB. ' The final for the Senior Pennant wan played between the Newtown and Ketburn Clubs on Saturday and resulted in the former club carrying off the honours. Recent rain made the greens fairly heavy both at Newtown and Kelburn, especially at the beginning of the game. The strong wind that developed was especially discouraging on Kelburn green and the coldness that came with the rain made the playing conditions unpleasant.
