ROWING
STAR BOATING CLUB. The Star Boating Club has now concluded its last race of the season, the Fitzgerald Fours. It was intended that the HcLean-Beihune Fours and the President's Fours should bo rowod, but this was abandoned on account ol the number of men in the regatta orows for Easter. The winning crow, B. E. Emerson (sfcr.) D. F. Stuart, F. J. Markman and AV. J. McGregor, wore undoubtedly far ahead of any other, the heats and to mi-finals being won by good margins in all cases. The races resulted as follows: First heat, Harris r. Pringle. Harris bv 3 lengths; second heat, Ca.igou v. Petre, Petre hy 7 lengths. Semi-finals, Harris and Hanson, Hanson scratched; Emerson v. Petre, Emerson hv 12 lengths. Final, Emerson v. Harris, Emerson by 2 lengths.
