DEMONSTRATION IN NEW YORK. IRISH-AMERICANS' CHEER DB VALERA. Australian i.nrl N./,. fable Association. NEW YORK, March 17. An Irish-American demonstration on the most imposing scale was made today. Do Valera. “President of the Irish Republic,” was cheered for miles along the route, and the Sinn Fein flag, alongside the Stars and Stripes, was to bo seen everywhere. The Mayor, Chur oil dignitaries, and representatives of anti-British and Hindu societies attended the demonstration.
