THE MISSING DENTIST
ME HiUKSTHOU.SE SEEN AT WAiNUI. On Wednesday two large search parties were at work down Uollau’s valley and the Wamui Valley, and further valuable news was obtained of Mr J. F. Hursthouse, the Wellington dentist, who has been missing since last Sunday. it seems that a man similar to the description published was scon by a roadman on Monday last, about 3.30 on tho Waiuui-o-mata road, making in the direction of the Hutt Valley. Ha was also seen by two other residents, who described him with sufficient accuracy to induce the searchers to believe that the man seen was Mr Hursthouse. To assist tho search parties, a full description and a photograph of tho missing man are being distributed throughout the Butt Valley and tho Wairarapa district, and Mr Hursthouse’s many friends will be very grateful if anyone who sees a man similar to tho published description will communicate at the earliest possible moment with the police or with Mr H. H. Tombs (telephone 1862, Wellington), who is in charge of the search parties.
