FURTHER RISE IN PRICES. At the fortnightly hide sale held in "Wellington yesterday the supplies were rather smaller than usual. There was, however, a large attendance of buyers, including tanners’ representatives, and the bidding was very spirited. The tanners availed themselves of their rights of pre-emption only on lines of medium and medium to heavy ox skins, and the bulk of the hides Were bought for export.
