STILL MORE TROUBLE
WORK AT ROTO WARD MINE SUSPENDED. FSB FEES® ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, March 12. . Work in the Taupiri Coal Company’s Rctowaro mine was completely suspended to-day. It is stated that the truckers refused to work because no skip grease was available, notwithstanding the fact that the mine officials substituted oil. The truckers are reported to have given no explanation to the officials as to why they would not work and by their action in leaving the mine without inquiry into the circumstances they rendered the other mine workers idle.
The normal daily output from the KOtowaxo mine is about 300 tons.
