The Governor-in-Council has consented to the raising of a loan of £120,000 by the T e Awamutu Electric Power Board, £16,000 by the Carterton Borough Council, £14,000 by, the Thames Borough Council, £IO,OOO by the Morrinsville Town Board, £7OOO by the Hobson County Council, £-3000 by the Uhaupo Town Board, £3760 by the Mauukau County Council and £I3OO by tlie Alasterton Borough Council.
