The last return yielded a return of 32450 z cf gold and 10,3930 zof silver. Taking the value of the gold at the British mint value, namely, JtJ. os pier ounce, this works out at X‘13,791. while basing silver ou the latest price quoted for the metal in London, namely. 7s 2d per ounce, the value is ,£6591.

The following information' has been cabled to' the head office of the company in London: —"No. a level: The drive east on the north branch of the .Martha lode in the Horso crosscut has been extended from 50ft to 85ft cast of the crosscut.
