At a meeting of business men held last, evening a resolution was passed calling the attention of the Board of Trade to tho inequitable distribution of sugu; throughout New Zealand, and urging the board to adopt a uniform basis of distribution. At a meeting of the fallen soldiers’ committee last night it was decided to ask tho Mayor to call a public meeting for the . purpose of deciding that the fallen soldiers' memorial sports ground at the old show grounds site shall- be adopted as “Masterton's memorial to the local fallen soldiers, and to discuss the wavs and moans of raising the necossari funds, the' committee favouring an art union. -
