AN IMPUDENT THEFT
SUN ROBBED OF £25. A particularly impudent theft was perpetrated in the Post Office Savings Bank on Friday afternoon. AVhile u local resident was making out a deposit slip for £25 his attention wax claimed for a moment by the neighbour on his right, and as h turned he left his bank-book containing five X 5 notes on. the counter on his left. ’As he turned back to pick "dp his book he noticed two women moving away, hut unfortunately for him, this circumstance did not arouse his bubpicion, and it was not until he opened the book at the “pay-in” counter that he discovered that he waa poorer t 0 the cxtcn£ of £25.
