The Blackball Company’s collier Ngahere was placed on the Wellington patent slip at midday yesterday for her annual overhaul. The Kaiapoi left Westport on Thursday night for Port Chalmers, where sho will put out part of her cargo of coal and will then com© on to Wellington with the remainder. The Paloona is to leave Dunedin to-day direct for Wellington, and is to get away from hero on Tuesday’for Newcastle and Melbourne.

The Kittawa is to leave Wellington on Monday night for Greymouth. The Kowhai will bo loading coal at Greymouth to-day for Lyttelton. Owing to the waterside workers holding their monthly "stopwork" meeting next Tuesday morning the Union Company advise that the Maori,, leaving Wellington on Monday, and the Mararoa on Tuesday will receive perishable cargo only. •The Komata is now timed to leave Westport at -midnight to-night coalladen for Wellington, where she is duo to-morrow night. The vessel is expected to get away from here on Wednesday on the return trip. . _ The ’ Mapourika sails at 7 o’clock this evening with passengers for Lyttelton. Cathie Dempster and Co. advise that the Wootton is due back at Wellington on Tuesday from Lyttelton.

The Government?’ steamer Hmemoa is due at ICaipara to-day from the north. The Blenheim is to leave WA'ington today for Takaka to load live stock ior Wellington, where she is due bmk on Monday. MOANA DUE NEXT FRIDAY The Union Company’s headquarters has been advised by cable that the Moana arrived at Papeete at 8 a.m. on Tuesday from San Francisco, and sailed at <t p.m. on Wednesday for Rarotonga and Wellington. The vessel is expected at AV'ollington next Friday. THE ANTIQUE. A Press Association message from Dunedin reports that the Dunedin-owned barque Antiopo, which left Suva on October 18 th for London, has reported off Dungcness. She is to bo ordered on to Rotterdam. THE KAIKOUUA. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Kaikoura is still discharging coal at Auckland. She loads at that port and Napier, and is expected to get away from the Hawke’s Bay port about the end of this month. THE JOHN. The steamer John arrived at Wanganui yesterday morning from Timaru. She is to sail to-night for Tarakoho to load cement for Wellington and is duo here next Tuesday morning. Tho John is • to leave Wellington on Wednesday for Lyttelton. THE HULA DELAYED.
