USEFUL CONFERENCES. NEWLY INITIATED REFORMS. Newly initiated reforms, also a number of’ suggested reforms, wore discussed, with the object of ascertaining horv they could ho most effectively carried out; mid the ropre sentations made will be fully considered later by the officers of tho Education Department. The Physical instructors have carried out a revision of the syllabus of instruction in their branch ; and it is hoped that a supply of the revised syllabus will shortly bo available.
