A Press Association message from Dunedin reports that the Mokoia arrived at Port Chalmers from Auckland, via ports, at 5.30 a.m. yesterday. The vesuel arrived o 3 Otago heads on the previous night, but was unable to enter port owing to an accident to the stearins gear. She was assisted to Port Chalmers .thia morning, whore she berthed at 7 a.m. The Mokoia is now undergoing Ire-pairs* and is expected to berth at Dunedin this morning to discharge and load. The Mokoia will now not arrive back at Wellington until next Thursday morning from Dunedin and Lyttelton. She will leave hern on Thursday evening lor i\ T npier, Gisborne and Auckland. Makura is to be oonverted into an oil, consuming vessel in order to obviate a propportion of the delays which have been associated witli the vessel for a long time.
