GREAT FUNDING LOAN
REPORT OFFICIALLY DENIED
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 4, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. May. 3. The report of tho issue of a Government funding loan is officially denied.
A cable message published on Saturday stated: It is reported that the Government is shortly issuing a great funding loan in the form of 4J per cent, consolidated stock. The issue price will bo £BO. The loan will bo repayable by means of a sinking fund, which will bo operative in 3057, entirely redeeming the loan by 1977.
