Travellers from Moscow report that Lenin and Trotsky are menaced by a new revolutionary movement of a purely proletariat character resembling the old nihilism. Conspiracies to assassinate Bolshevik dictators aro constantly being discovered. They are fomented by secret associations formed of workers In tho industrial centres. Hie movement is one of protest against Bolshevik interference in private life, which is based on German Marxian principles. The new movement is based on the teachings of Herzen and other Russian nihilists. The rebellions spirit has even spread to tho Rod Guards'. Several regiments were disbanded because they hold secret meetings, Lenin and Trotsky are ruthlessly suppressing strikes' by means of Chinese Guards, who shoot down the strike leaders without trial, and their followers are deprived of.their daily ration. Nevertheless secret societies flourish.
