Gorman airmen .are, heavily bombing the captured towns. _ The enemy is conducting his retreat skilfully with a massed, -covering of troops athwart the flanks ■ on. -certain routes bv which his main forces are retiring. Hia resistance is strongest soutn of Donai, where, the of the three British armies co-operating with the French, has imminent strategic possibilities.
