THE FLAG DRIVE
s __« RED CROSS "OUR DAY" APPEAL. In the advertising columns to-day the "Flag Drive" committee expresses regret that, owing to the number of voluntary workers in connection with the scheme being limited, it has been impossible during the last few days to canvss all the establishments in the Wellington city, and suburbs, bufc it is hoped that this will be done during tho next week. Meantime, those wishing to have flags immediately are advised to communicate with tho office, 330, Lambton quay ('phone No. 985), when somo will be sent per special messengers. As the number of workers connected with the various Red Cross and Patriotic bodies has been insufficient to cover I tho whole of the districtSj the committee would bo glad to receive volunteers for working the following districts: Newtown, Seatoun, Borhampore, Kilbirnie, Brooklyn, Cambridge, and Kent terraces, and the streets adjoining from Majoribanks street to Laureston street, and streets contiguous to Wallace street and Upper Cuba street. Those wishing to co-operate in this good work are requested to communicate with the secretary as early as possible. No doubt many willing workers who are not attached to any established organisation will take advantage of this opportunity. ,
