Cattle were at advanced rates in consequence of the short supply, and fat ehe&jf fluctuated, but on the whole showed little change. Gramers wore (operating im unfinished sheep. Store sheep wero offered in much larger numbers than, of late, inoluding some southern lines, btit these did not sell well. The market on the whole was easier. There was a good offering of store cattle, but the demand was not very brisk. Three-year-oW steers met with the best inquiry, hut the prices they realised were moderate.
