The local grain and produce market is very quiet, there beihg practically nothing doing in grain. There is a fair amount of business passing in seeds of all kinds for spring sowing. There is a little better tone in the potato market.- A few more ihqtiifieß are ■ coming to hand and some sales dan'how be expected. There are inquiries from Auckland for deliveries next Mouth. Buyers are offering .£8 at country stations, whereas last week some were not willing to give more than 15s. . WELLINGTON CUSTOMS.
