ST MARY’S BAZAAR

Last evening a good attendance greeted the efforts of St Mary’s Rebuilding Bazaar, A brilliant programme Was submitted and gained hearty approval. To-night again the bazaar is to be held, opening at 7.30. The first item for entertainment will be at 8 p.m. A firstclass orchestra will render items, and the special feature of the evening wilt be the exhibition of dancing by pupiis of Miss Nesta Carwell-Cooke. This lady is favourably known to the city pub*ic and a good evening is consequently expected. The committee is endeavouring to arrange for a display by soldiers from the camp. It is to bo noted that all soldiers from the camp attending in uniform will be admitted free. As before, Malini will continue to mystfy his audiences. The result of tho Queen’s Carnival will he announced early in the evening. By a regrettable oversigat the name of Mrs Evans was omitted from tho list of stallholders. This lady is one of tho heads of the Brooklyn stall, and tho oversight is tho more regrettable by reason of the fact that Mrs Evans has spared neither time nor effort in her assiduity in furthering the interests of the bazaar.
