AUCKLAND BURGLARIES
ONE OF THE ACCUSED MEN ESCAPES. Press Assocl&tlcm. AUCKLAND, September 24. In the Magistrate’s Court to-day, the five men accused of committing the recent burglaries and one who is charged with receiving, were remanded till tomorrow week. Patrick Gunn, one of the five, ©scaped from the police station, but was recaptured, after about an hour’s chase, hiding under a house near the Domain.
