INTER-COLLEGE TOURNAMENT
WELLINGTON BEATS WANGANUI. Press Asaocia-tlon. WANGANUI, Angust 30. Tho annual inter-college football tournament was concluded to-day, when Wellington- College defeated Wanganui Collegiate School by 13 points to 11, after a- fast and exciting game. There was a record attendance, the weather was fine and the ground in excellent order. For Wellington, Ward and Nichol scored tries, both being converted by Nicholls, who also kicked a goal from a mark. For Wanganui, Bryce scored after a sensational run; Glasgow and Weekes also scoring tries, one try being converted by Stewart. Some brilliant back play was witnessed, Ward for Wellington and Bryce for Wanganui each running right through the opposition. '
