TO GUARDIANS OF SOLDIERS' MOTHERLESS CHILDREN. "Cabinet agreed to-day," stated tho Hon. Sir James Allen (Acting-Prime Minister and Minister for Defence) yesterday, "to increase the allowances to the guardians of the motherless children of soldiers, hitherto standing at Is a day, to 3s per day, tho same amount that the soldier's -wife recoives."
