ORGAN RECITALS
To the Editor "N.Z. Times." _Sir,—Tho Knight of the Sorrowful Countenance rising from the mass of citizenship and wailing for the death of music worship as represented in the form of organ recital. The reception of organ recital entertainment l>y the general imblic gives cause for investigation, and no coercion can successfully take the place of calm, and truthful' discussion. Is the grand organ a musical instrument, or a compound fracture ■of common, acoustics? That is what I would like to know. Now, my opinion is that the grand organ is a very good servant, but a very bad master, and. until.it becomes more of tho former.audi le6s.of the latter, organ recitals will never be a great big draw. —I am, etc., HENBY BODKBY.
