£ THE “NATIONAL" LIST
RESULTS OF NOVEMBER EXAMINATION.
Yesterday the Education Departmout announced the results of the Junior National Scholarship examination held last November. Following are tire lists for the Wellington, Taranaki, Wanganui, Hawke’s Bay, and Nelson, districts!
List I. contains the names, in alphabetical order for each district, of candidates who reached the general standard of qualification (63* per cent.) for a scholarship in the Junior National Scholar-ship examination of November last. To those who are eligible in all other respects, scholarships will be awarded by the Education Boards concerned. List 11. contains the names _of candidates who gained between 53* per cent, and 63i per cent, of the total possible marks assignable in the Junior National Scholarship examination, and who, as candidates from sole-teacher schools, claim to be entitled to the concession under clause-4 of the National Scholarship Regulations.
