HALF-YEARLY MEETING, The annual report of the Amalgamated Wireless .Company of Australasia, which was presented at the half-yearly meeting held in Sydney during August, records, in the customary manner, the position of the several departments of the company’s work during and at the dose of the past halfyear. On June 30th, 1914, after nineteen- months’ trading, the balance-sheet showed a profit of *£8699, from which a dividend of 4 per cent, was paid; the reserves amounted to .£3BOO. For the year ended June 30th, 19X5, the profit amounted to .£9435; the following year, which closed at the end of June, 1916, the profits were aipproximately J 57000; the reserves amounted to jatT.OOO. and the dividend was 5 per cent For the past year .which ended on June 39th last, the profit was *67453, a 5 per cent, dividend being recommended, and the reserves have increased to the figure of *£20,500.
