WATERSIDE BALLOT
COAL GRAB PROPOSALS ACCEPT-
Tho coal-workers’ department of the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union took a ballot yesterday concerning proposals from the disputes committee with regard to working conditions and rates of pay in connection with the coal, "grab.” Messrs J. C. Frew and G. Matthews acted as scrutineers. The voting was a* follows: ■ For the proposals Mb Against the proposals Informal ° Majority for the proposal ... 17 Total votes cast 220 The text of the proposals was published in yesterday’s “New Zealand Times.”
