RUGBY FOOTBALL.
FIXTURES FOR TO-DAY. With the exception of tho first grade games, tho matches set down for this afternoon are tho same as postponed from Saturday last. The first grade games at Athletic Park are between Oriental and Ponoke and Old Boys and Wellington, both of which should bo close and interesting. At Petono the game is between tho suburban team and university, and as both are recognised as tho strongest in the competition, the game ought to bo worth seeing. Club delegates are reminded of tho special general meeting which is being hold at tho Y.M.C.A. rooms on Tuesday evening, at 8 o’clock, when tho committee of the union will submit important proposals in connection with the financial affairs of the union.
