For the eight weeks ended June 16th the Waihi-Paeroa Gold Extraction Co. treated 17.400 tons of tailings for a return of £6450. During the period three weeks were lost owing to shortage of coal. The company has now treated 744,700 ton! for a return of .£224,811.
