In the House of Lords, Lord Curzon stated that tho Government would deal with tho reform of the House of Lords'as promptly as possible. The composition of the* conference would bo largely on the lines of the Speaker’s franchise conference, but obviously the Lords were entitled to larger representation at the conference to advise as to tho composition, functions and powers of tho new second chamber.
