A TROTTING DIVIDEND
TOTALISATOB MAN’S MISTAKE. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 20. William Hill McDougall was charged at court to-day with taking into account in calculating a racecourse dividend certain investments which had not been publicly registered. The affair occurred at the Canterbury Park Trots, where a dividend paid was much smaller than it should have been if the figures on the machine were correct. A man who worked the totalisator admitted making a- mistake. The magistrate said the case was an accident-, and fined defendant 40s 'and costs.
