CURTAILMENT IN CANTERBURY
Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. June 19. The district committee specially appointed by the Racing Conference to consider the reduction of racing days in the Canterbury district met to-day. The following clubs voluntarily surrendered their days of racing;—Amberley, Cheviot, Christchurch Hunt, and Brae, kenfiold Hunt. The following curtailments were agreed to with regard to the undermentioned clubs :—Ashburton County Racing Club, one day: Canterbury Jockey Club, two days; IGjenaldino, one day; Hororata, one day; Marlborough Racing Club, one day: Methvcn, one day: South Canterbury Jockey Club, one day.
