CAMP NOTES
TREXTHAM. The allocation of officers and men for camp duty to-day is as follows: Captain of the day, Second-Lieutenant J. E. Wetson, J Company, 24th Reinforcements. Subaltern of the day, Sec-one-Lieutenant F. J. Baker, J Company. 24th Reinforcements. - Camp orderly sergeant-major, Staff-Sergcant-Major LJ. McTigue. Unit for duty, J Company, 24th Reinforcements (G Company, 23rd Reinforcements supply shortage). Chaplain-Captain A. J. Petrie, 24th Reinforcement, has reported for duty. Second-Lieutenant W. T. Longhurvl 30th Reinforcements, has returned from sick leave. Lance-Sergeant D. F. Coakley is temporarily appointed a sergeant. The Commandant has approved of the followin- temporary promotions t<?, the rank of regimental sergeant-major in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force ■whilst employed as bayonet fighting instructors; —R.Q.M.S. E. A. Weston. Corporal J. Muir, Corporal A. A. Thomson. Corporal P. G. Thompson, Sergeant BN. Tavender.
