Press Association. DUNEDIN, Alarch 28. At Burnside there was a medium yarding of fat cattle. Competition was keen and prices advanced 10s to 15s. Best bul'ocks £l6 10s to £lB 15s, extra £23 2s •sd, medium to good £l4 to £ls 10s, best cows and heifers £l2 to £l4 ss, medium £lO to £l2, others £9. Fat Sheep—23,6oß penned, a good proportion being prime quality. For these prices showed Is 6d advance, while medium quality were firm at late rates. Best wethers 41s to'44s, medium to good 35s to 3Ss, best ewe= 39= to n<=, good 33s to 37s 6d. medium 29s to 81s 6d. Lambs—l6C6 penned. Competition was keen and prices were equal to late rates. Pigs—A medium yarding. Fats elicited keen competition, and last week’s high rates were maintained. A good yarding of stores realised late rates.
