CHRISTCHURCH, March 27, There is still a scarcity in offerings of wheat, (although both millers and merchants aro prepared to operate up to the Government fixed prices. The scarcity (s said to be mainly due to delay in threshing. As was expected the oats market is weaker in consequence of Australian: oats coming into the North Island and Southland oats being ofiered at a cheaper rate than the price lately ruling in Canterbury. For heavy Oastons and Algerians 3s Gd to 3s Bd, and for heavy Duns 3s 8d to 3s 9d at , country stations is now offered. More oats are now being submitted: Mo' buyers, and growers are more willing to sell.
