From Our Own Correspondent. MASTERTON, December 21. Mr W. D, AVatson has purchased Mr A. J. Cooper’s, farm at To Ore Ora In connection with the military tournament to be held in Masterton in February, the Railway Department has decided to run special trains from Cress Creek and Woodvill© on February Ist. A man named John KnOx was fined £lO at Masterton yesterday on a charge of having indecently assaulted a child of three years of age. There will be about 2000 men under Colonel Adams, camp commandant. present at the military tournament in‘ Masterton.
Mr C. Tringham, of Feathersbon, is seriously ill. . ‘ The Rev. J, C. Abbott has been inducted as vicar of the Martinhorqugh parochial district. '
