ITS PRESENT STRENGTH QUESTION OF MILITARY SERVICE. By Telegraph—Press association —Capyrlffht (Received January 25, 8'.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 24. Tho annual report of the Labour party shows a membership of 2,093,000. The highest record compared with it is 1,707,000 last year. The Socialist societies comprise 32.800 members, a slight decrease. After referring to events in connection with military service- the report states that opinion as to the merits of the Compulsion Bill is divided. As a National Labour Conference is to be hold shortly, the matter is remitted to the conference foi decision.
