A SOLDIER KILLED
Frets Association. GORE, October 11. Private. T. Sharp, employed as a porter at the local railway station, who was proceeding to join the Trentham Rifle Brigade, fell under the north-bound express this afternoon at Pukerau, e'ight miles north of Gore, and was killed. His mother resides in Tasmania. The body- was brought to Gore and an inquest will be held tomorrow. ■ ’ ’
