ELECTRICITY FOR PAHIATUA
SCHEME POSTPONED. Press Association. PAHIATUA, July 13. Acting on the advice of a Wellington consulting engineer the Borough Council has resolved to defer the municipal light and power scheme, for twelve months, owing to the scarcity and high price of electrical materials. A loan of £IO,POO was raised a few months ago for the scheme, and two electrical experts’ reports were also obtained.
