SINKING OF A GERMAN WARSHIP
WORK OF A BRITISH SUBMARINE. Tho High Commissioner reports:— ’ LONDON, July 8. Potrograd officially announces that tho submarine which successfully attacked a German warship on Friday last was British. [lt was officially reported from Petrograd on July 4th, that a Russian submarine blew up a German battleship of tho Deutschland type, which was leading the enemy’s line in the Baltic on the afternoon of tho 2nd.]
