CEYLON RIOTS
LONDON, July 6. In the. House of Commons, in reply to a question, the Secretary of State for the Colonies (Mr Bonar Law) said the Government was inquiring into the origin of the riots in Ceylon, with the view to meting out punishment. Despite statements tq the contrary, Ceylon reports do not indicate that Germans were responsible for the riots.
