FATAL ACCIDENT
Press Association. ■ DUNEDIN, May 14. George Burnett, chief clerk in the district railway engineer’s office, met with a fatal accident shortly before 6 o’clock this evening. He was crossing a street when he was run into by a, tramcar and thrown against one of the cerftre poles. Mr Burnett had several ribs in his side fractured and was in a grave state from shock when picked up. Ho died about 11.30 p.m.
