Before the advent of the Commissioners it was the policy of the Government that women should not be called upon to work overtime, but things have changed, and. although the principle of equal pay for equal work is not admitted, girls are called upon to, work overtime in common with the men. As the association is anxious for our contributions it is only fair that they should look after our interests.—l am, 6tC ” SUFFERER.
