Press Association. , CHRISTCHURCH, August' 12. At a meeting of the New ZealandTrotting Association to-night the president detailed the steps taken in connection with the Alexandra Park inquiry. The authorities were of opinion that the horse was six years old at the time of his death, whilst two others affirmed it was five years. Several men well known in trotting had identified Alexandra Park with Red Cloud. Mr W. ,E. Simes said the case was one which the association could neither prove nor disprove. He moved that on the evidence before the association no further action be taken. Mr Mark moved an amendment that the matter be adjourned , pending further inquiries regarding the age of the horse. The amendment was agreed to. Regarding the Teviotdale case, it was resolved that Stringer, owner of the horse, and MacGregor (trainer) should be disqualified for life for contravention of the rules of trotting. Regarding the Dagmoor Villa case an inquiry was received from AV. H. Mortimer as to whether the association would register the hors© If brought back to New Zealand. It was decided to take no further action. The disqualification was removed from J. AV. Burke and R. Burke. The explanation of the Forbury Park Trotting Club regarding ; R. Logan’s and T. E. Wilkin’e case was accepted as satisfactory.-
