QUESTION IN THE HOUSE OF; COMMONS. "Times" ami Sydney "Sun” Services. LONDON, July 10. In tlie House of Commons, Mr Hunt (Unionist) asked liow many weeks’ supply of wheat and flour would bo available in the event of a sudden war, and could an assurance be given that the country would be safe against starvationf , Mr Asquith, the Prime Minister, in reply; said he thought, in the public interest, a reply should bo given. The question was being kept under continuous observation. Ho could give an assurance that everything that could be done was being done.
