LEAGUE GAMES
The League matches will be advanced another stage to-morrow, when Newtown and Suburbs will meet on Newtown Park. This match is exciting considerable interest, and Newtown are keen on wiping out their previous defeat.. Suburbs have so far been unbeaten, and are determined to keep pp their splendid record. The match should provide patrons of the League game with a good, fast’, open game of football. At Petone tho local team will meet Athletic. Theso two teams adopt similar methods of play, both relying on back play. Athletic are improving fast and training hard, while the Petone boys are leaving no stone unturned to place . another victory to their credit.
