CUSTOMS FRAUDS CASE
ANOTHER CHARGE INVESTIGATED. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 21. The Supreme Court was occupied all day to-day with the hearing of a charge against James Edwards Rundlc, in what is popularly known as the “Customs case.” The case is very involved indeed, as the Crown has to establish definitely collusion between the accused and another man who is now out of New Zealand. A very great deal of detail is involved. One witness to-day was in the box for three and a-half hours, giving expert departmental evidence.
