INTER-ISLAND MATCH
, TO BE PLATED ON JUNE 20th. Arrangements regarding the .intor-is-Jand match, which is to he played here Hii«j year, were advanced another stage a* the meeting of the management committee ot tire New Zealand Rugby Union last evening. It was decided that the match should be played at Wellington on June 20th. The following selectors were appoint-od.:—lSJoa-cL. Island—Messrs Lynskey (Wellington), Gallagher (Auckland;, and. Malone (Taranaki). South island—Messrs Wilson (Canterbury), Harris (Otago) and Hassell (South Canterbury). Tiie convenors <u*o ii&obxs Lynskcy Wiiteoa-. and nomimatkrns from unions are to he received by the eecretairy of the New Zealand Union not later than June 4th. The teams have to be chosen and in tho hands of the secretary by June 10th. The nominations are only to assist the selectors, and they one not restricted to the names submitted by unions. The players selected are to be askeu to notify the oomlinitteo whether they con make tho trip to Australia if required.
