A Styrian newspaper recently published a letter from a missionary in Bolivia who believed that Dr Nordenskjold and tho members of his expedition had been massacred by wild Indians. DrNordenskiold, Professor of Geography at the University of Gotteuburg. led a scientific expedition to Tierra del Fuego in 189597; to Alaska and Aukou m-1898; to the Antarctic in 1901-4; West Greenland, 1909; also to Spitzbcrgea and Iceland.
